So this happened today...
A guy I work with brought his NSX today and I got to sit in it!
It also has one of the cleanest engine bays I've ever seen. Actually, the whole car looked like it was brand new.

Looks nice, don't see too many yellow ones. Very clean!

Good for him! and even better that he keeps it so clean. If I had an NSX, I'd try to be the same way. It's a shame that so many examples don't ever see the track like they were meant to. You look like a kid on Christmas Day in that picture. Pure joy.

The NSX has always been a dream car for me. There's a blue one about a mile from my house, and sometimes over the summers I see it in the guys driveway. Shame I don't see it on the road much, but there are a number of NSXs in my area. Maybe I'll be able to pick one up someday.
Is it a dream car for you, or just a wicked ride owned by a coworker?

Offer to buy him lunch on the far, far side of town in exchange for letting you drive the NSX there.
Remember to do a giant burnout leaving the office parking lot!

It's one of many many dream cars. And since I've started importing cars there's a good chance I'll get to temporarily own some of them!

That's cool. So in terms of the importing, is it a day job kind of thing, or something you just do for yourself? The whole process is foreign to me, but a couple of the cars I truly lust for were never meant for the US market (and are damn near impossible to find, but that's a different problem).
Glad to know that one is tracked, just like it was meant to be.

My boyfriend (he's on Oppo as Bird) and I have started a company importing cars - it's called Roadtrip Motorcars. So far we've got a 1970 MS51 Toyota Crown and a 1989 Toyota Soarer Aerocabin. We're based in Kentucky.
What are the cars that you're lusting for?

An original Smart Roadster, an SL73 AMG, and the twin turbo V10 RS6 Avant. Obviously, those are the biggest wants (not that I'm quite in a position to afford any of them currently), but of course there are other non-US market cars I would certainly love to own at some point.
I'm a little north in Jersey, but it's not like I'm on the other side of the country either. I'm not sure if you've seen my more recent posts, but I've got an 05 Magnum RT that just got a new 5.7L after a dropped valve seat, and I also have a 97 SL600 Sport. I like having a "different" driveway compared to most.
